Paris during show time

Nightfall may mark the end of one cycle, but it’s also the beginning of a new one. Every evening in Paris, hundreds of concerts take place in legendary venues that have seen some of the greatest names perform. Intimate or mainstream, historic or modern, the design of Parisian concert halls is as diverse as their programming. In some quarters, you’ll hear the echo of pop, rock or electro shows at the Olympia or the Accord Hotel Arena.

A more classical Paris

Paris has also reserved a special place for classical music. The Opéra National de Paris, with its two splendid opera houses (Garnier and Bastille), offers its own interpretations of the classical register on an almost daily basis. The latest addition to this musical culture is the Philharmonie de Paris in the Jardin de la Villette. Musical performances take place in an ultra-modern building designed by Jean Nouvel. The hall’s design and sound quality lend an intimate character to the concerts.
